Elinore N. Holton, age 84, of Venice, Florida, passed away on July 25, 2009. Elinore was born on November 21, 1924 in Bayonne, New Jersey. She was an Executive Secretary for Paine Webber in New York City, NY for 43 years and retired in 1983. She then moved to Venice in 1987 with her husband, Bud, who preceded her in death. They were members of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Englewood. Elinore is survived by her nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Epiphany Cathedral on Monday, August 3, 2009 at 10:00AM. Inurnment will be held in the Memorial Gardens at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to TideWell Hospice & Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Florida 34238. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
