Bogdan Merena, 42, of North Port, Florida died Wednesday July 8, 2009. Bogdan was born October 16, 1966 in Passaic, New Jersey to Dimitrius and Maria (Iwaniszyn) Merena. He moved to North Port 15 years ago coming from Passaic. Survivors include his mother, Maria Merena of North Port; sister, Lidia Merena of North Port; brother, George Merena of Passaic, NJ. Visitation will be held on Sunday July 12, 2009 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm with a panachyda service 6:00pm at Farley Funeral Home North Port Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday July 13, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Epiphany Cathedral, Venice.
