Jason David Vicich, age 29, of North Port, died on July 2, 2009. He was born on March 19, 1980 in Naperville, Illinois and moved to North Port in 1992 after spending two years in Sarasota. He attended Venice High School and was a graduate of Port Charlotte High. Jason loved playing basketball and he worked for Casa Pools. He is survived by his son, Jason David, Jr.; parents Betty and John Vicich; brother Matt and his children Tre and Makayla, and brother Ryne; and sister Lacey, all of North Port; paternal grandmother Sara Lee Chaloka of Lockport, Illinois; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
