Lucille D. Lauer King of Venice died on February 10, 2009. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has been a long time resident of the Venice area. She loved to travel and particularly liked the Far East. She was a frequent visitor to Althea’s restaurant and Eden Salon in Venice and a member of the Epiphany Cathedral. She was preceded in death by her husband James King, Sr. She is survived by her three godsons: Fr. Michael Kugler, Michael Albrecht, and John Zinda; and many good friends in Venice and her hometown state.
