Elaine M. Raddatz, age 80, of Venice, FL and Chicago Ridge, IL died on February 11, 2009. She was born in Chicago on December 22, 1928, and spent 13 years in Fort Myers Beach, FL before she and her husband Charles as part time Venice residents. She was a member of Our Lady of the Ridge Catholic Church in Chicago Ridge, and an active participant in the Midwest Operating Engineers local 150 retirees club. Elaine dedicated her life to her family. Surviving family members include her husband of 58 years, Charles W. ; son Bill of Chicago Ridge, IL; daughter Peggy Ann Heelan-Raddatz (John) of Bradenton, FL; son Tom (Nancy) of Chicago Ridge; son Larry (Chris) of Lockport, IL; grandchildren Jennifer Seavey (Scott) and son Hunter; Amanda Heelan (Paul); Melissa Raddatz and son Benjamin; Thomas Raddatz; Brian Powers and Stephanie Powers; Valerie Raddatz; and Mike Raddatz.
