Clare Esther Zier Marchesani died on February 6, 2009 in Venice Florida. She was born in Montana on August 15, 1924. During WW 2, Clare worked for the U.S. Army’s Fort Lewis Signal Property Office in Washington State. She married Albert, and moved to NJ. She was a devoted member of St. John’s Lutheran Church Bloomfield New Jersey, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Point Pleasant New Jersey and Lakeside Lutheran Church, Venice Florida. She kept two homes, raised three children, and had a 25 year career as a legal assistant. She walked 5 miles a day with wrist weights until the day of her surgery. She thrived on intellectual challenges. She will be lovingly remembered by Husband Albert of 65 years; Children Alberta, Dayle and husband James, Kevin and wife Noreen;Grandchildren Seth and fianc�e Aimee, Sacha and husband Justin, Frank, and Joseph; Great grandson Declan Nicholas; Loving sisters and brothers, especially Richard, Lydia and husband Connie, Lillian, Bubbles, nieces Jane and Clara Mae; and Innumerable friends and relatives We thank all those who loved and cared for her, especially her family of friends in Venice. Visitation will be on Tuesday February 10th , 2 – 6 pm with a service at 5 pm at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Private family burial to follow in Bloomfield NJ.
