Evelyn Doris Dillard

Evelyn Doris Dillard, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026.

Evelyn was born on April 1, 1930 to Hilario and Angela Jauregui. She was the third of five children. The family moved to Jackson, CA in 1939.

Evelyn graduated from Jackson High School in 1948 and lived in Jackson as a homemaker.

Evelyn whose kindness and warmth touched everyone who knew her had a few hobbies, such as caring for her flower and vegetable gardens. She spent countless hours nurturing beautiful blooms and growing vegetables.

One of her greatest expressions of love was through her cooking. Family gatherings were made special by including her homemade tortillas, flavorful mole and delicious enchiladas. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, laughter and togetherness.

Above all, Evelyn treasured her family. Her gentle spirit, generous heart and unwavering devotion to those she loved will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela Grau/Gustavo; son, David Dillard/Jill; Granddaughter, Teresa Adkins/Rudy, Great-Grandchildren; Chase, Colton and Rosie; Sister, Rebecca Roberts and many nieces and nephews.
