Jacquline "Jackie" Irene Gonsolis, age 84, of Pioneer, California, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 22, 2026, at the Argonaut Care Home in Jackson, California, to meet her Lord and Savior.

Born on November 7, 1941, in Monterey Park, California, Jackie was the daughter of the late Roy and Phyllis (Steele) Roberts.

Jackie spent over five decades in Amador County, where she was a highly respected member of the community. She dedicated 20 years of her professional life to the banking industry, serving as a trusted branch manager known for her commitment and integrity. However, it was her quiet grace, deep faith, and profound love for others that left the most lasting mark. Affectionately nicknamed “Mama Jackie” by her friends and those she served, she was widely known for her wisdom and genuine kindness. A strong believer in Christ, Jackie lived out her faith through a life of quiet but impactful service. She gave generously of her time, serving as a dedicated volunteer in the community with CASA, spending 17 years volunteering for Hospice of Amador, and serving at her church for many years.

Jackie was a devoted wife and an amazing mother whose greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 56 years, Gilbert Gonsolis of Pioneer, California. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Swenddal, and her husband Jerem; and her son, Paul Gonsolis, and his wife Nellie. She was a proud grandmother to her beloved grandchildren, Anna Joy Swenddal, Isla Faith Swenddal, Ashlyn Kathleen Johnson, and Reagan Hope Gonsolis, who will forever carry the legacy of her love. She is also survived by her brother, Ronald Dobler.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Denhart.

A celebration of life will be held on May 18, 2026, at 10:00 am at Grace Fellowship Church, located at 8040 South State Hwy 49, Jackson, CA 95642.
