Pamela Saracino-Howard

Pam Saracino-Howard 76, of Jackson, California passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026 at home surrounded by her family and with her beloved cat, Woody at her side. Pam was born on May 31, 1949 in Oakdale, California to Ralph Saracino and Dorothy McHenry.

Pam graduated from Jackson Unified High School, class of 1967 where she participated in many school activities and student government. She was especially proud of her Song Leaders, always saying it was an honor to be on this happy and talented squad.

After graduation Pam moved to San Francisco and attended The Academy of Arts College to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, winning multiple awards and recognition for her art work. She remained in the Bay area where she met and married the love of her life, John Howard. They had one son, Kevin. Pam retired and moved back to Jackson in 2012.

Pam is preceded in death by her husband John, her son Kevin, her mother, father and sister Carol Anne Smith.
Pam is survived by her sister, Coni Saracino, brother in law Charles Smith, nephew Eric Smith and his wife Sue. Two nieces, Kimberley Smith and Pamela Smith McDonald, seven great nieces and nephews and eight great great nieces and nephews.

At Pam’s request there will be no services. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
