Emil T. Zlaket

Zlaket- Emil T. 75 of St. Petersburg passed away Monday, May 29, 2006 at St. Petersburg General Hospital. Born in Cleveland Ohio, he came here in 1968 from Wickliffe Ohio. He was a retired Mechanical Design Engineer. An avid golfer and fisherman, he was a former member of Pasadena Yacht and Country Club. He was Milkite-Rite Catholic. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Joan; six daughters; Jackie Szemesi of Largo, Bonnie Collins of Seminole, Jane Knippen, Mary Fortenbery and Sherry Gates all of St. Petersburg and Amy Palmer of Kenneth City; a sister Sue Kovach of Mentor on the Lake Ohio; seventeen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8PM Thursday, June 1, 2006 at David C. Gross Funeral Home, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, where funeral services will be at 2PM Friday June 2nd with Rev. George Rafidi, officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens.
