Joel M. Grossman

Grossman- Joel M. 81 of St. Pete Beach passed away Monday, May 29, 2006 at Hospice House Woodside-Pinellas Park. Born in St. Louis MO, he came here in 1984 from North Andover MA. He was a retired executive in the Textile and Medical Industries. He was a member of Congregation B'nai Israel of St. Petersburg, T.O.P; Gulf Coast Jewish Family Services; Menorah Manor Foundation; Philip Benjamin Tower Board; Florida Holocaust Museum; Jewish Federation of Pinellas County and the American Society of Chemical Engineers. Survivors include his wife Shirley Blau Grossman; a son Jeff Grossman of Palm Harbor; a daughter Barbara (Joe) Sterensis of Pinellas Park and four grandchildren, Abby and Lauren Sterensis and Sara and Brett Grossman. David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Beth David Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. Funeral services will be 11AM Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Congregation B'nai Israel, 300 58th Street North with Rabbi Jacob Luski, Rabbi Michael Torop and Cantor David Sislen, officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Largo. The family suggests memorials to Congregation B'nai Israel or Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. Service Information
