Peter Joseph Macri

MACRI - Peter Joseph, 74, of Gulfport, Florida, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Bay Pines V.A. Health Care System in Bay Pines, Florida. Born in Mt. Vernon, New York, he came to Florida in 2000 from Spring Valley, New York. He was in the U.S. Army having served in Korea and was a salesman in the roofing industry for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus; the Sons of Italy, and attended Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Gulfport, Florida. Survivors include his wife of ten years, Yolanda; two sons, Christopher (Kathleen) Macri of Naples, Florida and Wayne Macri of Slatehill, New York; two daughters, Patricia Macri of Bloomingburg, New York and Karen Denicola of Cornwall, New York; two step-sons, Ernest Squillante of Scarsdale, New York and Steven Squillante of Gulfport, Florida; two step-daughters, Diane Burns of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey and Lisa Squillante of Sloatsburg, New York; one brother, Jim Macri of Covina, California; seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 3 PM Monday, June 18, 2007 at the David C. Gross Funeral Home, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, where friends will be received from 2 PM through service time.
