John Francis Blaskey

John Francis Blaskey, 37, passed away unexpectedly in Tucson, Arizona, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. He was an active Chicago sports fan, attending many sporting events. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. John was born on July 22, 1989, in Safford, Arizona, to Larry and Jenny (Johnson) Blaskey. He grew up in Thatcher and Douglas, AZ, graduating from Douglas High School in 2007. He is survived by his mother Jenny Blaskey; grandmother Valerie Johnson; brothers Robert (Allison) Blaskey, Michael Blaskey, and Ryne Blaskey; sister Kimberly Blaskey; uncle Todd (Mindy) Johnson; aunts Julie (Nelson) Brown and Christina Blaskey; nephews Nathan and Daniel Blaskey; nieces Elizabeth and Adaline Blaskey; and numerous cousins. John was preceded in death by father Lawrence (Larry) Blaskey. John was an easy-going man and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was loved and respected by his loved ones and the community. His love, caring, and support for his family and friends was felt throughout his life. Services will be held at 9541 E Snyder Rd, Tucson, AZ on 10/17 at 10am.
