Maria Jesus Alcoser

Maria Jesus Alcoser (Miranda), age 76, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona. Born on January 27, 1949, in Marana, Arizona, she remained deeply rooted in her community and faith throughout her life.

 A proud graduate of Marana High School, Maria carried the values of perseverance and dedication into every chapter of her life. She was a woman of unwavering strength and deep faith—qualities that defined her character and guided her actions. Her devotion to God was central to her life, reflected in her active participation at St. Christopher Catholic Church. As a member of the Guadalupanas and the Catholic Daughters of America, Maria found purpose and fellowship in service to her church and community.  

Maria’s life was enriched by the love of her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Arthur Alcoser; daughters Margarita Osorio and Sonia Alcoser Alvarez; grandchildren Kasondra Cruz L'Armee, Miranda Acosta, Saul Osorio, Izabella Alcoser, Diego Osorio, Sergio Osorio, and Nhatasha Bay Alcoser; and great-grandchildren Matthew L'Armee, Gabriel Orduna Alcoser, Greyson Suciu, and Emmett L'Armee. Her legacy lives on through them—a testament to the enduring love and guidance she offered.   Maria will be remembered for her constancy in faith and family. Her presence was a steady light for those around her—persistent in love, consistent in care, and always grounded in grace.
