Gary Lee Nance

Gary Lee Nance,68, of Lynchburg, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, after a long illness.

Born February 16, 1958, in Bedford, VA, he was a son of the late Howard Lee Nance. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Ann Bryant Nance of Florida. Gary was a welder by profession and had worked for several companies in the Lynchburg area.

In addition to his mother, Shirley Ann Bryant Nance, he is survived by his former wife and lifelong friend, Vicki Harris; two sons, Michael Nance (Cybil) of Rustburg, VA and Jason Nance of Lynchburg, VA; one daughter, Megan Hendricks of Evington, VA; three sisters, Susan Nance of Florida, Gail Hicks (Carl) of Woodbridge, VA and Barbara Brown (Tom) of Concord, VA; five grandchildren, Carter Nance, Kaylee Nance, Macie Nance, Alaina Hendricks and Jaxson Nance and his never forgotten beloved dog and best friend, "Pebbles"

The family would like to thank Fairmont Crossing Nursing Home for the care he received.
