Omar Cobo Mendoza

Omar Mendoza went home to be with the Lord Jesus on Thursday, October 29, 2026. He was the loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family very much.

He is survived by his loving wife Terry, his sons; Stephen and his wife Joy, Byron; five grandchildren, Alyssa and her husband Ethan, Brandon, Victoria, Carson and Wesley; his brother-in-law Mark and his wife Brenda Wilkerson; and nieces and nephews.

We all love him and miss him but know he is in a better place with our Lord and free from pain.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, November 5, 2026 at Diuguid Funeral Service & Crematory-Waterlick Chapel, 21914 Timberlake Rd. Lynchburg, VA 24502. Relatives and friends are welcome from 11:00 am Thursday until time of service.
