Felisha Rochelle Talk
Jan 8, 1977 — Apr 1, 2026
Ladies and gentlemen, family, and friends,
Thank you all for being here today to honor and remember my mother, Felisha talk I know she would be touched to see so many of you gathered here, showing your love and support during this incredibly difficult time for our family.
As I stand here, I find myself at a loss for words—because how can you possibly sum up the life of a woman who meant so much to so many? But I will do my best to share with you the woman I knew, the mother I was lucky enough to have, and the impact she had on the world around her. My mother was : loving, strong, kind, generous, resilient . She always knew how to put others before herself, whether it was through a warm meal, a listening ear, or the endless support she gave to her family and friends. She had a way of making you feel seen, heard, and loved, no matter what was going on in her own life.
As a mother, she was everything you could hope for: nurturing, protective, and full of wisdom. There were so many lessons I learned from her, not just through words but through actions. She taught me the importance of love, integrity, and standing strong in the face of adversity. She was the glue that held our family together and the heart that kept it beating.
I know that I am not the only one here who feels her loss deeply. So many of you here today were touched by her kindness, her friendship, and her spirit. Whether you were a close family member, a friend, a neighbor, or someone she met along the way, she made you feel special, as though you were the most important person in the room.
Though we are grieving, I find comfort in knowing that her legacy will live on in each of us. The lessons she imparted, the love she gave, and the memories we shared are something we carry forward. As difficult as this is, I take solace in the fact that she lived a life full of love, and that love will never truly leave us.
I want to thank each of you for support during this time. The outpouring of love and compassion has been overwhelming, and it means so much to me and to the rest of our family.
Mom, you were my guide, my rock, and my biggest cheerleader. You were a light in this world, and even though you are no longer physically here, I know your love and your spirit will continue to guide me every single day.
I love you, and I’ll carry you with me always.
Thank you.
