Michele Tremblay-Suepke

Michele Tremblay-Suepke, 66, of Tacoma, WA, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2026, surrounded by loved ones after a difficult battle with COPD and Stage 4 cancer.

Michele was born on June 9, 1959, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, to Monique and Yvon Tremblay. 

After graduating from De Mortagne High School in 1977, Michele pursued a degree in Technical Tourism at La Salle College, graduating in 1980.

 Following graduation, Michele worked for Sunquest Vacations before opening her own travel agency, Voyages Claudelle, which she proudly owned and operated for more than 20 years.

Michele was deeply passionate about the travel industry and loved every aspect of the business. Her career allowed her to lead travel groups and explore destinations around the world. 

On August 1, 1998, Michele met William (“Bill”) Suepke through an AOL chat room — Michele in Montreal and Bill in Tacoma. Over the next five years, they took turns visiting each other every few months, building a strong and loving relationship across the miles.

On Valentine’s Day, 2003 Bill proposed to Michele and they were married on April 25, 2003, in Las Vegas. Following their marriage, Michele went back to Montreal to prepare to sell her business and home. In the summer 2004 she moved to Washington to begin their life together. 

In March 2007, Bill retired, and soon afterward they began building their LegalShield business together. They worked side by side as a team until Michele’s passing.

Through their business, they formed many lasting friendships throughout the United States and Canada. Michele was part of the Leadership team for Washington. She also took part in helping to introduce LegalShield into her home Province, Quebec.

Michele loved cooking with Bill and taking road trips in their RV.

Bill often referred to Michele as his personal IT and HR person because she love doing those tasks, both for them and others.

Michele is survived by her loving husband, Bill Suepke; her two sisters and brother — Christiane, Sylvain, and Marie-Claude — along with many relatives, friends, and loved ones whose lives she touched deeply.

Michele was cremated in Tacoma, and a Celebration of Life will be held on June 2, 2026, at Life Center, 1717 So. Union in Tacoma. The event will start at 11a.m. Afterwards there will be a potluck for the attendees.
