Gregory Paul Bugg

Gregory Paul “Greg” Bugg of Tacoma, Washington went to be with the Lord on April 5, 2026 at the age of 66.

Greg was born on October 19, 1959 in Fort Ord, California to Martin Reginald Bugg and Peggy Jean Jones. Moving to Tacoma, Washington in 1963 with his family, he attended and graduated from Franklin Pierce High School in 1978 and studied theater at Eastern Washington University. He served in the United States Army for three years before building a career in retail management, primarily at home improvement stores such as McLendon Hardware. He was a devoted fan of Disney and traveled to Disneyland several times each year.

Greg is survived by his brothers, David (Jill) Bugg of Three Forks, Montana and Kirk (Cindy) Bugg of Rice, Washington; and his sister, Sandra DeVries of Fircrest, Washington. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Martin Bugg; his mother, Peggy Jones; and his brothers, Steven and Brian Bugg.

While no formal service will be held, the family invites you to privately celebrate Greg’s life. His ashes will be spread off of the coast of Depoe Bay, Oregon at a later date, where he will be reunited with his mother.
