The Lord Is My Shepard, And I Shall Not Want

**Obituary for Charles "Chuck" F. Spring** With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Charles “Chuck” F. Spring on October 20, 2025, at the age of 91, in Englewood, Florida. Born on June 9, 1934, in Ashtabula, Ohio, Chuck lived a life full of adventure, love, and laughter, touching the hearts of everyone who knew him. Chuck is survived by his beloved wife, June Spring, and his adoring daughters, Debbie DiPietro and Jean Durand. He shared wonderful times with his sons-in-laws, Tony DiPietro and Gary Durand. His legacy continues through his grandchildren Trisha, Kristin, Derek, Jason, and Melissa, along with many great-grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren, who all cherished their time with him. He is also remembered fondly by his sister, Ruth DeBow, his sister-in-law Carolyn Shubert, and numerous cousins and friends who enjoyed his vibrant spirit and generous nature. His career took Chuck across various roles in Global Logistics, but above all, he was a family man who loved spending time outdoors. Whether he was boating on his pontoon, casting a line while fishing, playing cornhole or billiards, or simply enjoying a good book about history, he always approached life with youthful energy and a joyful heart. Known for his kindness, humor, and boundless generosity, Chuck had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued. He was a man of simple pleasures—relaxing with a Gin and Tonic while listening to his favorite tunes, especially The Grateful Dead and Classic Country music. Chuck's favorite quote, “The Lord Is My Shepherd, And I Shall Not Want,” reflected his deep faith and trust in God, embracing life with a spirit of gratitude. A Church Service will be held in Chuck’s honor at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, located at 5265 Placida Road, Grove City (Englewood), Florida, on October 30, 2025, at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made to Blood Cancer United, dedicating the donation in Chuck's memory through their website. Please go online and search (Google) Blood Cancer United and donate. Chuck will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and the joyful memories he created with all those lucky enough to know and love him.
