Kenneth Leroy Johnson

Kenneth Leroy Johnson the son of Otto Harry Johson and Dorothy Floral Philips (Johnson) was born on June 9th, 1943, in Spencer, Iowa and went to Spencer public school. Kenneth married Janice Kay Wilken at the Hope Lutheran Church in Everly Iowa on October 21st, 1962. He worked as an auto mechanic all his adult life and this was also his weekend hobby. In 1963, he and Janice moved to Storm Lake, Iowa where their first child was born, a son, Jeffery. A few years later they moved to Omaha Nebraska where their second child was born, a daughter, Jennifer. Then they moved back to Everly. In 1972 they moved to Tempe, Arizona where their third and final child was born, a son, Jason. In 1990, they moved to Gilbert Arizona.

Kenneth passed away on September 23rd, 2025, in his home at the age of 82. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister's Patricia Lindeman, Bonnie Jones, Donna Freebird, and Corky Daly. His grandson Brian Johnson, his brothers in law Tim Fitzloff, Jim Jones, Glenn Lindenman, Francis Daly, Richard Freebird and other relatives and friends.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 62 years, Janice, and his three children, Jeff, Jennifer and Jason. Three grandchildren, Chelsea, Jamie, and Derik. Four great grandchildren, Marlie, Zander, Levi, and Lexi. Two brothers, Bob from Iowa, Darrel and his wife RuthAnn from Texas. Three sisters Marla Fitzloff of Arizona, Barb Johnson of Nebraska, Daphne and Richard Lebsack of Colorado, and many other relatives and friends.
