Shiloh Eric McGlade

Shiloh Eric McGlade, 16, of North Port, Florida, passed away on October 21, 2026. Born in Bradenton, Florida, Shiloh made North Port his hometown. He was a young man who deeply valued his family and found joy in the outdoors and staying active through exercise. An avid airsoft enthusiast and dedicated knife collector, Shiloh also loved learning about special military operations and was a proud member of ROTC. He was CPR certified and held aspirations to pursue emergency medicine as a medic, whether in a civilian or military capacity. These interests reflected his curiosity, discipline, and appreciation for craftsmanship, service, and the natural world. Above all, he shared a deep and abiding love for his parents and siblings.

He is survived by his loving parents, Josh Turk-McGlade and Amy Turk-McGlade; his siblings, Joshua, Lydia, and Ezekiel; and many other family members and friends who will miss his presence.

A celebration of life will be held at New Day Church, 20212 Peachland Blvd, Port Charlotte, FL 33954, on Tuesday, October 27, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for family, friends, and classmates. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday morning. The family has respectfully requested that only immediate family attend the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations in his honor to be directed toward causes that support youth outdoor activities & ROTC programs.

Shiloh’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
