Addy Leigh Griffith

Addy Leigh Griffith, age 75, of Venice, Florida passed away on July 13, 2026. Addy’s early years were in Paxton, Illinois and in 1971 she married Mike and they moved to Venice in 1979.

They owned and operated the Decorating Den in downtown Venice. They later owned Addy’s Inn in Nokomis when they retired and moved to the Island of Venice downtown where they enjoyed all that Venice had to offer.

Addy was a member of the Venice Yacht Club, Mission Valley Golf & Country Club and the North Jetty Crew. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Francis Animal Rescue of Venice, 1925, S. Tamiami Trail, Venice, Florida 34293 or to Tidewell Hospice of SW Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Florida 34238.
