Alfred R. Stout was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Edwin C. Stout and Madelyn (Rowe) Stout. He passed away at his home in Venice on December 9, 2017 of age related causes.
He grew up in White Plains, NY with his younger brother, Ed. He graduated from Columbia College in NYC with a degree in economics.
He took a job in Washington, DC with the Civil Aeronautics Bd. In Washington he met Jan Stout. They were married in 1958 and were married for 59 years. During retirement he learned to fly, and had licenses for single engine and twin-engine airplanes. He owned his own plane and flew coast to coast including the Bahamas, Canada, etc. He was an accomplished photographer, enjoyed classical music, foreign travel and golf. He is survived by his loving wife, Janice.
There are no services planned at this time. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
