Antin Chomyk

Antin Chomyk, age 90, beloved husband of Anastasia (nee Riznyk), dearest father of Michael (Pam) Chomyk, Natalie Chomyk-Daniels, Daria (Rod) Nafziger. Devoted grandfather of Tony (Jen) Chomyk, Heather Daniels, William Bean, Michelle Chomyk and Jonathan Bean. Great grandfather of Adrian Bean. Loving brother of Walter (Slava) Chomyk, Ivan (deceased) (Rozalia) Chomyk, Myhajlo (Pavlina) Chomyk in Ukraine and loving uncle and cousin. Preceded in death by his parents, Myhajlo and Daria Chomyk. Antin was born on October 18, 1921 in Ukraine and met his loving wife Anastasia in 1943 and were married on Veteran’s Day, 1945. They were married for 67 years. He was retired from the Bricklayers Union Local #5 in Cleveland, Ohio. Antin passed away on August 7, 2012. A Panachyda service will be held at 6:00PM on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Farley Funeral Home in North Port. A Mass will be held at 9:30AM on Monday, August 13, 2012 at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in North Port with entombment to follow at Venice Memorial Gardens.
