Arnold P. Schwartz, Jr., 83, of Venice, FL, passed away November 13, 2013. Arnold was born September 29, 1930 in Yonkers, NY to Margaret (Leahy) and Arnold Schwartz, Sr. Arnold was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War. Arnold owned and operated Arnold Electric Service, Inc. in Yonkers, NY for 30 years and was employed by the City of Yonkers for 10 years. Survivors include beloved wife of 58 years, Mary; son, Kevin Schwartz of Orlando, FL; daughters: Lynda Dapp of Venice, FL, Cynthia Russo of Somers, NY and Stacey Schwartz-Wieczorek of Venice, FL; loving, proud grandfather of Eric ""Ricky"" , Christopher, Victoria, Michael, Matthew, Amberly, Nicholas and great granddaughter, Ashley Rose. Visitation will be from 1-3:30 PM with Funeral Service at 3:30 PM, Sunday, November 17 at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Burial will be at 1:30 PM, Monday, November 18 at Sarasota National Cemetery. Farley Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
