Benedict & Loretta Umbras

Loretta & Benedict Umbras, both of Venice, formerly of Michigan went home to be with our Heavenly Father in January, 2017, just days apart from one another, after being married for 64 years. Benedict served his country proudly during the Korean War. They are survived by their four sons Fr. Tom Umbras, SVD of Duxbury, MA, Larry (Kimberly) of North Fort Myers, FL, John (Sandra) of Fort Myers, FL, David (Rick) of Sarasota, FL, 5 grandchildren, Greg (Michelle), Nicole (Morgan), Benjamin, Courtney (Peter), Tyler, 5 great grandchildren Carson, Sutton, Leo, August, Solomon and Benedict's brother Anthony Ambrose (Alice) of Pine Island, FL., many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation for Mr. & Mrs. Umbras will be from 2:00 until 4:00 pm Wednesday, January 11th at the funeral home. Their Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 12th at Epiphany Cathedral Church in Venice with interment following in Venice Memorial Gardens.
