Bertha Cooper

Bertha “Bea” Cooper, age 83, of Port Charlotte, formerly of North Port, died on December 23, 2011. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 30, 1927. Bertha was a loving mother and wife who enjoyed boating, traveling and her Florida retirement years. She is survived by her son, Scott Cooper of Levittown, NY; daughters Melody Cooper of Key West, FL and Carrol Ann Schenck of Kansas City, MO; and brother Sonny Walker of Dallas, TX. A graveside service will be held at Gulf Pines Memorial Park on Tuesday, December 27th at 1:30 PM. Farley Funeral Home, North Port Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
