Blanche Elizabeth Taber

Blanche Elizabeth Taber, age 66, of North Port, Florida, passed away on September 3, 2017. She was born on January 27, 1951 in Albany, New York. She was with Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance Company in Rotterdam, New York for 23 years and then moved to North Port in 1996 and worked with FCCI Insurance in Sarasota for 10 years. She was of the Methodist Faith. Blanche is survived by her husband, Gregory of North Port; step-daughter, Heather Marie Taber of Cape Coral, Florida; a sister, Marion Robinson of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Douglas O'Connor of North Carolina and Alexes Bergen of Florida. She also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Sophia O'Connor and Ares O'Connor. A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Venice Memorial Gardens. Farley Funeral Home in North Port is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to Tidewell Hospice, Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Florida 34238.
