Brooke Noelle Fenton, 29, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Dover, OH, passed away on November 17, 2016. Brooke was a certified Veterinarian Technician at The Cat Hospital of Fort Myers for the past two years. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Biology at Ohio University in Athens, OH in 2010. She also had an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology from Kent State in New Philadelphia, OH in 2012. In 2013, she moved to Fort Myers to take an externship position at Crow Rehab Sanctuary on Sanibel Island and fell in love with Florida. She also met the love of her life, her fiancé James Jones in 2013, and had just purchased her first home in October of this year. Brooke loved her animals and had a strong connection with them all. Since buying her first house, she was very excited about making it a home and starting a family. Brooke loved shelling with her mom, especially on Sanibel Island, and considered that their special time. She also loved spending time at the beach with James.
Survivors include her sister, Jennica Fenton, of Westerville, OH; mother, Jackie Fenton, of Venice, FL; father, Chris Fenton, of Dover, OH; Uncle Tom and Aunt Ellen Fenton of New Philadelphia, OH; Uncle Donald and Aunt Jamie Severn and daughter Brittany of Harvest, AL; cousins Amy Fenton and her companion Matt Hickin, Kelly (Chris) Schoelles and their children, Olivia and Owen; Lindsey (Mark) Rosneck and their children, Nolan, Audrey, and Eleanor, all of New Philadelphia, OH; cousin Darlene Mast and her children, Teyha and Matthew, of Mineral City, OH; and many other Warner cousins of Tuscarawas County, OH. Brooke was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sara and Harold Fenton, grandmother Dolores Newell, and an uncle, Ron Fenton. She also had a very special ""aunt"" Tina Korns of Naples, FL, a very special ""grandma"", Betty Hoffman of Venice, FL, and a lifelong friend, Kacie Heldt of Dover, OH.
Memorial donations may be made to Crow Rehabilitation Center on Sanibel Island, or to the Tuscarawas Humane Society, 1432 Tall Timber Road, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
