Celia Anne Snodgrass

Celia Anne Snodgrass, age 68, of Nokomis, Florida, passed away on January 22, 2018. She was born on July 3, 1949 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She is survived by her daughter, Celeste (Eric) Swope; a son, Thomas Jefferson Rix; her mother, Elizabeth King; a brother, Grant (Elaine) King and a sister, Phyllis (Mike) Archer. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, T.J. Rix, Kendra Swope, Camden Swope and a great-granddaughter, Camila Rix. Celia was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Snodgrass and her father, Norval King. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the First Church of God South Venice. Burial will be private for the family at Sarasota National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
