Chester Coleman

Chester (Chet) W. Coleman, 78, of North Port, FL, passed away September 18, 2016. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp in Korea. He attended Conestoga Senior High School and was a talented Softball pitcher for the Community Softball League of West Chester, PA where he pitched several perfect games and numerous no-hitters. He owned and operated his own Paint Contracting business for over 50 years and worked all over the east coast. Chet was survived by his loving wife Lela, cherished children Denise Hiser (Todd), grandchildren Christopher, Andrew, Matthew and Eric, and Chet Coleman, Jr. (Janet), grandchildren Maddie and Savannah, and stepchildren Connie, Joyce, Denny and Vicky. Chet is also survived by his brother Frank Coleman and sister Violet Imperial and predeceased by his brother's Denny and Junior. A viewing will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, North Port, FL on Saturday, 9/24/2016 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
