Claire M. Connolly

Claire M. Connolly, 92, passed away on March 13, 2017 following a long illness. She was born November 26, 1924 in Albany, NY to Andrew and Florence Pytell. Claire was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Andrew. Claire is survived by her husband of 67 years, John R. Connolly; her daughters Maureen Connolly, Patricia Ford, Kathy Stetson, and Mary Rabadeux. Claire is a 1942 graduate of St. John's Academy in Rensselaer, NY and Mildred Elly Secretarial School in Albany, NY. Prior to her marriage she worked as a secretary for Hudson Mohawk Insurance Company. After her family had grown up, she returned to work as a secretary for New York State Conservation Department, retiring after 12 years of service as a Principal Secretary. Claire is an active Catholic parishioner of Epiphany Cathedral in Venice, FL and of Holy Mother and Child Parish in Corinth, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 23rd at 11AM at Epiphany Cathedral in Venice, FL.
