Clyde E. Hudson

Clyde E. Hudson, 88, of Venice, FL, formerly of Salisbury, MD, died on October 7, 2016. Clyde served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years before retiring and becoming a teacher for 27 years in Providence, RI. He earned a Master's Degree from Creighton University while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Clyde was a baseball and football fan who enjoyed traveling. He also loved chocolate and ice cream. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Manuela Hudson of Venice, FL; daughter, Lisa Hudson of Washington, DC; son, Larry Hudson of Seekonk, MA; and granddaughter, Lindsey Hudson of Cranston, RI. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 10AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Inurnment will take place at Sarasota National Cemetery at a later date.
