Cynthia "Cindy" Cordwell

Cynthia “Cindy” Cordwell of Englewood, Florida, was born in Portland, Maine on June 7, 1947 and passed away on August 5, 2026 surrounded by her family. She moved to Englewood in 2014 from Lewiston, Maine and was a Bank Loan Officer.

Cindy is survived by her daughter, Michelle Patten of Rotonda West, Florida; her son, Michael Cordwell and his spouse, Peggy of Norway, ME; her best friend and love of her life, Bruce Barnes of 34 years and his daughters, Wendy Barnes Allen, Jennifer Hinkley and grandchildren, Curtis Patten and his significant other Mindy, Jaycee Okiomah and her husband Fejiro, Connor Patten and his significant other Kelsie, Colton Weymouth and Brendan Cordwell. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren, Gianna, Rylan, Jamison, Donovan, Marcus and Mya.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Elizabeth Sawtelle and her aunt, Muriel Loignon.
