Donald Little

Donald K Little Sr (74) died peacefully after a long illness Wednesday, February 4, 2015. He was born September 3, 1940 in South Bound Brook, New Jersey to Freda and Elisha Little. He was preceded in death by his daughter Diana Homer. He served in the Navy as an airman and aviation mechanic. After discharge he had a career as a diesel mechanic. Don was also a volunteer fireman in New Jersey and Florida where he was Chief at South Venice Fire department. Don enjoyed motorcycling, boating, fishing and his family. He is survived by his loving wife and devoted caregiver, Doris; childhood friends married for 55 years. Don is also survived by brother Robert, children Donna Cox, Dolores Lori Wilder (Robert), Donald Jr., grandchildren Doris Cox, Marc Wilder, Jason and Chris Homer, great grandchildren Ella Kalczuk, Landyn Cox and Landon Falkner. Services and burial will be held privately at the Veterans Cemetery in Sarasota.
