Surrounded by his loving daughter Joan and Margaret, his beloved wife of 66 years, peacefully passed away in Venice, Florida at age 93 on February 7, 2012. Ned became ill while he and Margaret were spending the winter in Florida visiting with Joan and her companion Ed Ryan. “Danny” as he was known to his coworkers, retired from the Belmont Light Department and also the former Filene’s in Belmont Center. An Army veteran of WWII, he was a member of VFW Post 1272 in Belmont. He was the brother of Mary Grace Colorito of Arlington and the late William, Dominic, Louis, James, Charles, John Joseph, Anthony, Ann Malfa and Mary Ingram. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
