JONES, Doyleen Louise – age 80, of Venice, FL, formerly of Durand, died May 14, 2014 at her son’s residence. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad Street. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Friday and12:30 PM until time of service Saturday. Burial will be in Venice Memorial Gardens, Venice, FL. Mrs. Jones was born on April 10, 1934 in Flint, the daughter of Doyle and Priscilla (Macklin) Gaines. She was married to Robert W. Jones for 62 years. Doyleen retired in 1986 after 30 years of service from GM Service Parts Operations, Swartz Creek. Doyleen is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Diana (Dan) Horvath of Venice FL, Frank (Kay) Jones of Linden, David (Carol) Jones of Byron; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Dennis (Alma) Gaines, Kenneth (Alma) Gaines, Vonnie Kihlstrand O’Sullivan of Nashville TN.
