Edna H. Wheatley (Potter) of Venice, FL, formerly of Clifton, NJ, went home to be with her Lord on March 6, 2012. Edna was born in West Bromwich, England on January 20, 1921 to Joseph and Mabel Potter and came to the US in 1923.
Beloved wife of Albert R. Wheatley who predeceased Edna in 2003.
Survived by her son, William R. Wheatley (Nokomis, FL) and daughter, Marleen J. Valdes (Nutley, NJ) and grandchildren, Brian R. Wheatley (Nokomis, FL), Jeffrey Valdes (San Antonio, TX), Stacy Davis (Cedar Grove, NJ); six great grandchildren.
Also survived by her brother, Stanley Potter (Jacksonville, FL) and sister, June Reilly (Tannersville, PA).
Edna was a member of Venice Bible Church and a former member of Chapel on the Hill and Brookdale Baptist Church in New Jersey.
She was employed by Kearfott in Clifton, NJ for 24 years.
