Edward J. McCarthy, Jr., age 75, of Venice, FL, died on January 6, 2015. He was born in Chicago, IL on June 20, 1939, and came to Venice from Key West 15 years ago. Ed worked at the Venice East Golf Club for 10 years. He is survived by his wife, Ginny, of Venice; step-son Patrick O'Boyle, his wife Catie of Naperville, IL and granddaughter Olive O'Boyle.
