Edward C. Ross

Edward C. Ross, 85, of Venice, formerly of New York City, Lincoln Park, NJ and Vernon, NJ passed away April 20, 2017. A proud American, Edward is a U.S. Army Veteran who served his country during the Korean War. Edward was a construction electrician with IBEW Local 3 in New York City. He spent his career working in buildings throughout New York City including Madison Square Garden, the World Trade Center and Rockefeller Center. Edward and his late wife, Mary, retired to Venice 25 years ago. Edward was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing cards. Edward is survived by children Edward (Mary Ann) of Lincoln Park, NJ, Maureen (Kalvin) King of Kennebunk, ME, Joanne (Philip) Forbes of Morris Plains, NJ, Patricia (Bruce) Baxter of Morris Plains, NJ, Eileen (Richard) D’Andrea of Nutley, NJ and Timothy (Bernadette) of Morris Plains, NJ as well as fourteen grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Charles Ross. A viewing will be held at Farley Funeral Home in Venice from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 24. At his request, Edward will be cremated.
