Eleanor May Dolney

Eleanor May Dolney of Venice, Florida was born on December 13, 1933 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and passed away on July 6, 2026 at the age of 92. She retired from the Metro Health System in Cleveland, Ohio and then moved to Venice where she was a member of Epiphany Cathedral.

Eleanor is survived by her three children: Cindy Chadd of Madrid, Spain; James Raymond Dolney, Jr. of Painesville, Ohio; and Carol L. Dolney of Venice. She also leaves behind two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Epiphany Cathedral with the inurnment to follow at Venice Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Eleanor.
