Ernest Fitzherbert

Ernest Hayward Fitzherbert, Sr., age 91, of Rotonda West, FL, died on January 5, 2015. He was born in Morristown, NJ on March 1, 1923 the son of Lillian and Richard Fitzherbert, Jr. A veteran of the US Army, Ernest served during WWII in the 12th Armored Division, 119th Engineer, ""Hellcats"". He was a member of the VFW and American Legion, and frequently played organ or the piano at their events. Ernest is survived by his daughters Eleanor Kwacz of Rotonda West, FL and Carol Pisarek of Indian Land, SC; sons Ernest Fitzherbert, Jr. of Bayville, NJ and William Fitzherbert of Olathe, KS; step-daughters Denny Drugac and family of Boonton, NJ and Carol Barclay and family of Lincoln Park, NJ; grandchildren Harlan Fitzherbert, Cassie Cooper, Jason Kwacz, Scott Fitzherbert, Kim Fitzherbert Sandberg, Sean Fitzherbert, Christina Mullen, Brian Fitzherbert, and Joseph Kwacz; and great grandchildren Alex, Sophia, Brooke, Ryan, Cole, Kara, and Weston. He was preceded in death by his wife Ellen Weeks Fitzherbert, his brother John and sisters Dorothy Stephens and Louise Cates. Services will be held in Succasunna, NJ at 1st Presbyterian Church on March 16th, 2015 at 11 AM.
