Gary W. Lamson

Gary Lamson, age 69, of Venice, FL, died on January 28, 2014. He was born in Beatrice, Nebraska on June 4, 1944 and came to Venice from Warren, NJ. Gary dedicated his entire career to helping mentally ill and disabled adults and children. Surviving family members include his wife, Joan, of Venice; sons Shawn of Pompano Beach, FL and Jeffrey and wife Stacy of Denver, CO; brother Larry and wife Francine of St. Leonard, Maryland; sister Gayle Lloyd and husband Rick, also of St. Leonard; step daughter Lorraine Wilczewski and husband Kevin of Milltown, NJ; and grandchildren Kristen and Elizabeth. A gathering will be held at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel, on Monday, February 3rd from 10 - 11 AM with a Funeral Service at 11.
