George Hutzelmann

George John Hutzelmann, age 81, of Venice, FL, and Lewes, DE, passed away on December 1, 2015. He was born in Middletown, NY on January 7, 1934. George was a civil engineer for the Federal Highway Administration and NJDOT. He was an excellent bridge player, an avid reader, and a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. George was a veteran who served in the US Army. Surviving family members include his wife, Alicia; daughters Jill Shaw (Charles), and Terri Grifa (Thomas); sons James Hutzelmann (Wendy), and Matthew Hutzelmann (Gina); grandchildren Taylor, Tommy, Charlie, Nathan, Dylan, Jeffrey, Sonya, and Julia; and brother Paul Hutzelmann (Ann). A gathering of friends will be on Saturday, December 12th from 12:30 - 1:00 pm at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel, with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 pm.
