Gerald C Sturtevant

Gerald Sturtevant, age 69, of Venice, Florida, passed away on February 3, 2018. He was born on September 26, 1948 in Worcester, Massachusetts. He has joined his loving wife and best friend of 47 years, Brigitte Sturtevant. He is survived by his two children, Jacqueline Tadlock and Alicia MacFarlane; a brother in Fl and two sisters in Connecticut as well as three grandchildren; Kevin MacFarlane, Lucy Tadlock, and Reagan Sturtevant. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather (Opa). Gerald is a Veteran and retired Battalion Chief of Sarasota, Fl. He will be missed by all that knew him. Services will be private for the family and interment will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery at a later date. Farley Funeral Home in Venice will be handling the arrangements.
