Harold Edwin Doody, Sr.

Harold Edwin Doody, 93, of Winter Haven, Florida, went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2026, where he was joyfully reunited with his beloved wife, Bertha.

Harold was born on January 28, 1933, in Ludlow, Maine. Throughout his life, he touched the lives of many with his kindness, warmth, and genuine care for others. He was loved and deeply respected by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Harold spent much of his working life in the transportation industry. One of his favorite jobs was being a tour bus driver, a career that gave him the opportunity to travel and meet many wonderful people. Harold and Bertha enjoyed many trips together, making special memories and seeing new places along the way. Those travels and adventures were some of the many happy memories they shared.

Harold leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory, including his three children, Harold (Barbara) Doody Jr., Brian (Laiad) Doody, and Kathy Bunch, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Our family truly appreciates all the wisdom, stories, laughter, and love that Harold shared over the years. Harold made our family stronger and brighter just by being him. We’re so grateful for all the guidance and the special memories we made together.

While his passing leaves a great void in the hearts of those who loved him, his family finds comfort knowing that he is now at peace and reunited with the love of his life, Bertha.

Visitation and funeral services will be held Monday, September 28, 2026, at Farley Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m. and the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Venice Memorial Gardens.
