Harold âBud' E. McLain, 85, of Venice, FL, passed away September 29, 2014. Bud was born August 1, 1929 in St. Charles, MO, to Laura (Engle) and Elmer Dale McLain. Survivors include his wife, Julie Gall McClain; son, William Allen McLain; nieces: Christine, Karen and Kathy; sister-in-law, Violet and brother-in-law, John. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 PM, Friday, October 3 at Sarasota National Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to TideWell Hospice, 5955 Rand Boulevard, Sarasota, FL 34238.
