Harold E. White

Harold (Hal) E. White, 90, passed away on September 16, 2013. Hal served in World War II in the Air Force. He retired from Florida Power & Light. He and Margaret spent their retirement years traveling. They are long time Venice residents and also had a summer home in the Georgia Mountains. Hal was a founding member of the Englewood Chapter of Mason, member of the American Legion and the Elks Lodge. He was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church. Hal is survived by the love of his life Margaret, son Rodger of Tampa, daughters Debbie (Joe) Perz of Hickory, North Carolina and Mitzie (Bill) McGavic of Arcadia; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 4:00PM on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Grace United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Grace United Methodist Church or Tidewell Hospice. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
