Henry Totah

Henry Totah passed away on Tuesday, April 24th at Bayfront Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL. He was born in Miami, Florida on October 2, 1928 to the late Mary and Elias Totah. Henry's favorite sport was Basketball which he played in early childhood, then at Miami Senior High School, while at college and even into his military career. Henry was a very intelligent man. Education was important to him. He graduated from Miami Senior High in June 1946. Then went on to study at Purdue University. After serving 2 terms of service in the U.S. Army he continued his education at Miami University, graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics. Henry was a fireman in Miami while attending University of Miami. He then attended Fullerton College in California working on his Masters. He next worked for 20 years for the Navy Department in Norco, CA where he put his math skills to use as a Mathematician at the Navy Weapons Center. But most important of all - Henry was a very devoted father to daughters, Mona and Kym, and grandfather, to Jake and Josh. He took his family on many wonderful trips during the 27 years living in California. Henry was always there for his family making sure they had what they needed.
